The Fond du Lac County Fairest of the Fair program is designed to encourage youth 18+ years of age to continue to support the Fond du Lac County Fair and the fair industry as their years of exhibiting at the fair diminish. The Fairest serves as the official ambassador of the Fond du Lac County Fair! The Fairest is encouraged to promote the Fond du Lac County Fair at numerous community events, local parades, surrounding county fairs or other agricultural shows and 4-H events both before and after the week-long Fair in July. As the host of the Fond du Lac County Fair, the Fairest will be available during the Fair week and will assist with introducing shows and events, handing out ribbons to exhibitors and interacting with fairgoers to ensure they have a wonderful experience at the fair that we all know and love! This program is intended to help shape youth as they further their education and careers. The program will sharpen communication and people skills, reinforce proper etiquette and provide a noteworthy experience for on one’s college and career applications.
