The Fond du Lac County Agricultural Society is excited to announce some top-notch acts for the 2008 fair.  Wednesday evening will feature Gary Allan, a favorite in the country world.  His single "Watching Airplanes" is currently at #1 and has also been nominated for "Single of the Year" by the 2008 American Country Music Awards which will be held in May.  Another great country group, Little Big Town will light up the stage on Thursday evening.  Influenced by groups such as The Eagles, Alabama and Restless Heart, Little Big Town is known for hits like, "I'm With the Band, Boondocks, and A Place to Land."  They too have been nominated for "Group Video of the Year" by CMT.

Rock and roll legend, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will rock the stage on Saturday evening.  Jett is best known for the song "I Love Rock n Roll" which topped the pop charts and spent seven weeks at #1.  The board is still busy working on the rock act for Friday evening.  For updates, check out our website at www.fonddulaccountyfair.com . 

The 2008 fair will kick off Tuesday evening with Johnsonville Family Night.  A new feature this year will be a family group from Ontario called "Everything Fitz."  This high energy group consisting of Mom and Dad and their four teenage children features some of the finest young fiddlers and dancers in the country.  They are sure to captivate the audience. They will be the opening act to perform in the Sound Stage Tent. 

The rest of the line-up performing in the Sound Stage Tent will include "The Love Monkeys" on Wednesday, "Oil Can Harry" on Thursday, "Road Trip" on Friday and "The Back Home Boys" on Saturday.  There is sure to be something for everyone.
