Q: What is included in a season pass?

A: Season wristbands include admission to all of the grandstand events excluding the two concerts.

Fairgrounds Building Rental

Q: How do I find out information regarding renting a facility at the Fairgrounds and costs?

A: The Fond du Lac County Fair is not affiliated with the management of the fairgrounds. The County Fair is run by the Fond du Lac County Ag Society. Please contact the County Fairgrounds office at 920-929-3169 to reserve a building and to receive a contract.

5K Run/Walk & Youth Run

Q: Are headphones, iPods or MP3 players permitted?

Yes, but participants do so at their own risk and are expected to follow and obey all coarse and traffic laws, which may require the ability to hear and understand course marshalls and/or law enforcement personnel.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No. Absolutely no pets will be allowed for either the run or the walk.

Q: What is the temperature in Fond du Lac that time of year?

A: The average July temperature for Fond du Lac is an average high of 81 degrees Fahrenheit and the average low is 62 degrees Fahrenheit.

Q: How long will the course be open for?

A: One hour and 30 minutes

Q: Will I receive a medal?

A: No, at this time we do not anticipate awarding medals for finishers. However, prizes will be awarded for some of the top finishers in each age group.

Q: What will I receive for participating in the run/walk?

A: This event includes many amenities for participants, including t-shirts, post-race refreshments and all day single admission to the Fond du Lac County Fair on Race Day.

Q: Are spectators allowed to attend?

A: Yes. However, all persons entering the fairgrounds will be required to pay daily admission.

Q: Can I transfer my entry to another participant?

A: No. Unfortunately all participants are required to register themselves for the run/walk. There are no refunds or exchanges offered.

Q: Is there a place to keep my keys and extra clothes?

A: At this time we do not anticipate offering a gear check for the run/walk.

Q: Where do I get my race bib?

A: All event participants are required to pick up their race bib on race day prior to the run/walk.

Q: What type of wheelchairs are allowed?

A: Push-rims are the only style of wheelchair allowed.

Q: Are there any bathrooms on the course?

A: No, However bathrooms will be available before and after the run/walk on the fairgrounds.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Sorry, there are no refunds for cancellations.

General Information

Q: What are the fair's hours?

A: 8AM-12 midnight


Q: What can/can't I bring to the concerts?

A: You may not bring video cameras, laser lights, glass bottles or coolers to the concerts. Flash cameras can be brought into the concerts. Rules may vary with each concert according to the show's manager.

Q: How much does the grandstand entertainment cost?

A: To see the shows on the grandstand you will need to purchase a ticket. See Tickets & Deals tab under General Info dropdown.

Q: Can I set up my lawn chair for the entertainment ahead of time?

A: No, because of the headliner shows , the track seating is only available to those who bought VIP tickets in advance. Standing room and grandstand seating is available for the general concert admission price.

Q: How do I get front row seats and/or backstage passes?

A: The fair does not provide back stage passes to any of our grandstand shows. Arrangements would need to be made in advance with the entertainer and proper notice given to the fair office. Front row seating is not reserved, except in the VIP Section. It is available on a first come first served basis.
